Fall Wreath

Don’t judge. I know this wreath was a little late in the making… But here is my second craft made possible by cardboard! Such an inexpensive, versatile resource : ) This is my first “pinspired” (inspired via pinterest) project! I found this wreath on that site, a while back, and fell in love! Here’s my version ( :

I made the rolled fabric flowers / rosettes using this tutorial. If I were to do it again, I’d probably make my flowers a bit bigger. My pieces of fabric were about 4 feet long and 1.5 inches wide.

I made each flower a bit differently at first, as I was getting a feel for the rhythm of it. You can make a knot at the end of your strip of fabric and use that as the center to roll around. I ended up usually just rolling the fabric to create the center for most of my flowers.

And then I added some fall leaves and grasses…

Just two rings of cardboard are used as the base, and lots of hot glue holds it all together!

Pardon the jingle bells on my wreath hanger…can you guess what season I originally bought it for ; ) But hey, they’re fun all year long!

Hope you have a beautiful week!
