This delicious crockpot, chicken dish is from my friend, Leah. She has lots of yummy and creative ideas – so be sure to check out her blog!

If you’ve ever wanted the perfect chicken & cream of- kind of warm-your-belly, comfort food type of dish – this is it : D And it’s made more perfect since you simply make it in a crockpot!

3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Oil for pan

Cream Cheese {8 oz block, softened & cubed}

Cream of Mushroom soup {1 can}

1 Packet of Dry Italian Dressing mix

½ c Dry White Wine / Apple Juice / Chicken Broth

**Optional: small can of sliced mushrooms

  1. In a sauté pan, drizzle lightly with oil and cook chicken breasts until golden on both sides, though not cooked through. Move chicken to slow cooker / crockpot.
  2. In the same pan, add wine / juice / broth, soup, dressing mix, and cream cheese. Cook on low heat until well combined.
  3. If using, layer mushrooms over chicken breasts in crockpot. Pour “sauce” over chicken. Cook in crockpot on low heat for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is tender. Serve over rice {or noodles if you prefer!}
